I. Learning aims

1. Help students to have a further understanding of the article and know more about the use of antibiotics.

2. Help students to develop the ability in picking out the important information.

Step 1 Lead-in (picture-talking)

Step 2 While-reading

1. Guide students to conclude the effects of the aspirin

2. Inspire students to present their findings of the aspirin’s special effects (Group work)

3. Help students to sort the information related to the two medicines

4. Help students to learn reading strategy

Step 3 Group activities (Help students to analyze the reasons for the use of antibiotics and put forward some suggestions by creating a situation) (Group work)

VII. Brief introduction to the teacher

陶佳佳,中学二级教师,在《中学教学参考》、《语数外学习》上各发表一篇文章。2008年在如东县新教师会课比赛中获一等奖。2013年参加校信息化能手比赛获文科组一等奖。曾多次开设县级公开课,均获得好评。
